Registered Massage Therapy at Active Living

We're so happy to offer this service at Active Living! Among many other benefits, registered massage therapy can help induce relaxation, reduce fatigue, ease headaches, improve joint mobility, and relieve persistent pain. Registered massage therapists can also prescribe exercises to help prolong the benefits of your session.

We love removing barriers to massage therapy. If you've had massage therapy in the past but didn't find it worked for you, remember that no two massage therapists are the exact same, and it's possible to find another therapist who's better suited for you.

Registered massage therapy can range from gentle soft tissue manipulation to stretching techniques and deep tissue massage. Please feel free to communicate with your massage therapist about your goals and what's more comfortable and effective for you! They value this feedback.

Our registered massage therapists have experience working with people with brain and spinal cord injuries as well as people with various other neurological and orthopaedic concerns. They can adapt their treatments as needed to best meet each person's needs.

Registered massage therapists in Ontario have completed a diploma in massage therapy and have passed certification exams before registering with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. You can find more information about massage therapy at the following links:
