For over 15 years, Active Living Physiotherapy in Peterborough has been providing premiere physiotherapy and massage therapy services for people with disabilities, and people with neurological and orthopedic injuries. Administrative Assistant / Physiotherapy Aide

Today, we are looking for a part time administrative assistant.

 

Your goal in this position is to help with the smooth operation of a busy physiotherapy clinic. You’ll answer phone calls from clients who want to book appointments or have questions. You’ll book appointments in our scheduling software, and process client payments.  You’ll work closely with our senior administrative assistant, ensuring the routine work is running like clock-work. You’ll help with clinic organization, cleanliness and laundry.  Sometimes you will help the therapists with clients if they need “extra hands” to provide better treatment. And most importantly, you’ll be a friendly, welcoming face and voice to our diverseclientele, many of whom are people with physical disabilities, using physiotherapy treatments to embrace life to the fullest. 

Working with Us

You’ll be joining a small, close-knit team. We have a lot of fun and a lot of laughs working together. 

This is a part-time, permanent role, approximately 15 hours/week, weekday, daytime hours only. You’ll work mostly in Thursdays and Fridays. 

Starting wage is $15/hr which includes a membership at our on-site 24/7 gym facility.

 

Qualifications 

Number one is your personality: organized, detail-oriented, quick-paced, and friendly. Plus any of this experience will help you really stand out.

  • Any experience working in administration

  • Any experience in a quick-paced, phone-based role such as reception, order desk, or an in-bound call centre

  • Computer savvy to learn new software such as scheduling, payment processing, and client database software

  • Any experience providing any hands-on health care or personal care services

  • Experience in physiotherapy or other clinic administration is an asset
