Richard joined us 3 years ago this Thursday although it seems like he's been with us forever. He started volunteering with us about 7 years ago. A couple of years later he was a Trent student with us and then returned as a physiotherapy student through Queens.
We are very pleased that he chose Active Living to start his career, he’s a top tier physiotherapist and fantastic person. Here's his bio from our webpage:
I am a Registered Physiotherapist with special interests in neurological, orthopedic and vestibular physiotherapy. As an undergraduate student, I started volunteering at Active Living in effort to familiarize myself with physiotherapy. This ignited my passion for the profession and I decided to further my education, and eventually complete my Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University.
I focus my practice on providing guidance in setting reachable, individualized physiotherapy goals for my patients and strive to help them achieve these goals. I typically find the best outcomes in my treatments result from focused education and exercise, supplemented with manual therapy techniques.
I am passionate about fitness and health and am a bit of a geek in my free time.
